These new heald frames, called Speedfix, are the natural evolution of the Deltafix with the addition of technical devices that improve functionality, especially in high speed weaving. Speedfix frames come in all the sizes and types required by modern looms and are suitable for the automatic Uster Vega and Reed Chatwood (Barber & Colman) automatic drawing-in devices. |

Technical characteristics:
Extruded cross members in a special, high strength anodized aluminium alloy.
Injected noise-absorbent material makes the cross members sound-proof. |
Heald shafts with rounded edges in hardened stainless steel for hooking the J or C healds measuring 280 mm (II"), 331 mm (13") or 382 mm (15").
These heald shafts can be fixed across the full length (fig.1) or are partially mobile for manual threading up (fig. 2). |
Aluminium lateral supports, in sizes that withstand high speeds, for looms with separate lateral guides. These lateral supports are connected to the cross members by means of practical locking devices (fig. 3) |
Possible frame drives: different types of shedding machine attachments can be supplied to suit the various shedding machine types |
The geometry of the mechanical parts is calculated via computerised systems to get the best possible strength every time. |
New solutions have made it possible to reduce the weight of the frames so lightening the load on the levers and shedding machines on the loom. |
